- Manage end-to-end generic formulation supply chain for regulated markets to meet objectives aligned to organisational growth
- Prepare periodic forecasts & supply plan in coordination with marketing and manage production schedules at plant/third party manufacturing sites
- Program manage new commercial launches and ensure smooth transition of products from R&D to commercial
- Identify and mitigate supply risk and execute business continuity programmes
- Coordinate shipments with logistics team and offshore distribution warehouses/3PLs
- Maintain optimal inventory levels at plant and distribution warehouses and achieve service levels committed to customers
- Maintain repository of third party manufacturing sites, identify and setup new sites as and when required
- Drive price negotiations and contract management of third party sites
- Track, monitor and drive adherence to contractual obligations and processes
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relations including communicating objectives, monitoring vendor performance and resolving business issues
- Periodically map capacity for inhouse plant and CMO, participate in portfolio management, new product introductions and preparation of business cases
- Act as a focal point between SCM, marketing, product development team, plant PPIC and other stakeholders for procurement, logistics, supply planning and contract manufacturing
- Manage SAP transactions for material management at Plant/CMO
- Define best in class supply chain processes for new markets/product introductions
- Prepare periodic dashboards and status updates for review by management
- Manage team performance, lead train and mentor reportees
