YOUR ROLE SUMMARY SAP CoE - Sales and Distribution is responsible for effective management of the - Order to Cash (OTC)- processes in the GCPL businesses across the globe. Responsibilities include value adds to the business in terms of emerging technologies, process improvements, process governance, project execution and overall maintenance of the solutions deployed. YOUR ROLE SPECIFICATIONS Areas of responsibility include but not limited to: - Lead and support Sales and Distribution process areas in SAP SD, across business units in 12+ countries. - Interact with and manage key stakeholders globally to ensure seamless business execution and drive enhanced value from ERP and other IT solutions through process standardization and integration. - Evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies (like Bar Code based Inventory Management, Warehouse Management Systems, EDI interfaces with customers and 3PL partners, etc.) in Sales and Distribution processes. - Implement, sustain and improve best practices in Global Supply Chain. - Manage Application Management Support (through a team from our IT Partner) for Sales and Distribution areas of SAP, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs. - Manage IT implementation projects in Sales and Distribution process areas. - Drive implementation and adoption of business analytics and KPIs using solutions like SAP BIW and Qlikview. QUALIFICATION - BE / MCA-IT/ MBA - SAP SD certification preferred SKILLS REQUIRED - Strong knowledge of SAP SD (including configuration) and hands-on experience in SAP including integration with other modules. Knowledge of any other ERPs will be an added advantage. - Strong functional knowledge of Sales, Logistics and Warehouse Management processes, preferably in CPG domain. - Good knowledge of Business KPIs and Analytics in Sales and Distribution areas. - Ability to explore and work on new technologies (Bar Code based inventory tracking, EDI interfaces with customers and 3PL partners, etc.) - Good stakeholder and people management skills. - Strong knowledge of SAP change management processes. - Demonstrate initiative and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards. - Excellent verbal and written communication with an attention to detail and ability to impart ideas in both technically and user-friendly language. EXPERIENCE - 8+ years of relevant functional experience (should have worked in industry in Logistics / Inventory control / Sales Distribution roles) - 4+ years of experience in end to end SAP implementations as a module lead or process owner and 2 or more SAP support projects - Experience in relevant industry (CPG, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Pharmaceuticals) is preferred.
