This position requires a dynamic professional who is an energetic creative sales leader, with a successful selling track record.

- This position represents one of the key sales roles within the framework of company's sports franchise structure, responsible for helping the franchise meet its financial goals while delivering the highest levels of customer service.

- In addition to selling tickets, the job functions include some aspect of marketing.

- He / she will sell and market all season, group and premium ticket packages as assigned by the Head of sales and marketing.

- Along with monitoring, managing, training and motivating an executive team, this position often calls for selling through outbound sales calls and face-to-face sales presentations.

- Because selling is still part of the job, working knowledge of franchise's ticketing software is essential.

- Monitoring customer service inquiries, maintaining the system for timely responses to all-related fan requests and feedback, maintaining weekly sales report updates for senior management and the central accounting office, and participating in other related franchise marketing, sales and event projects.

- Developing models to forecast business and market potential

- Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers

- Liaising with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors

- Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data

- Working closely with visual-display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximise sales

- Producing layout plans for stores, sometimes called 'statements'

- Forecasting profits and sales, and optimising the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas

- Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season

- As a sports merchandise sales manager or representative, you will spend time building relationships with customers and retailers and work to get and keep your product in their stores

- Crafting go-to-market strategies and help company monetize their assets, and find the right brands to partner with.

- Identify local, regional, and national companies as potential sponsors and/or corporate hospitality customers by reviewing lists, research and networking.

- Responsible for acquiring and servicing sponsors

- Manage sponsors and partners for the franchise during the season

- Scheduling player activity calendar as per the sponsor commitments to ensure player availability

- Responsible for all sponsor branding; in-stadia and across communications

- Worked closely with the central team to execute on-ground and on-channel deliverables for sponsors & ensured all the deliverables/commitments to the sponsors be executed as per the contract

- Ensured on time payment receipt from the sponsor
