Manager - Sales at Mumbai for a Global MNC service org

The position is based in Mumbai and reports to the SBU Head.
The position is expected to be closed by end-May.
We have the following vacancy:
Job Description-Manager-Sales: Will have the primary responsibility to head the business operations and meet and exceed overall sales & revenue targets set across regions. This will entail aggressive business growth and expansion
KRAs
1.Identify opportunities for creation of new initiatives & industry specific B2B properties like events /conferences /roundtables /awards /knowledge partnerships etc. by analyzing market /competitor trends
2.Spearhead creation of new properties in line with the organisation's core strength.
3.Conceptualize & ideate large format conferences & summits generating revenues both top-line & bottom-line as per defined margins.
4.Generate additional revenues for all product lines through sponsorships/print ads/ advertorials/ interviews/ company case study etc.
5.Pitch Knowledge-based solutions and concepts to key decision makers in Corporates/PSUs/Banks (CXO / Director-level contacts in Marketing/Business Heads/Corporate Communication functions)
6.Plan and execute national level field sales strategy by efficiently collaborating across product lines
7.Partner effectively with teams to build synergy in product offerings and customer approach
8.Ensure highest levels of controls and compliance are adhered to while meeting sales targets
9.Implement marketing strategies by analyzing trends, market mapping, competitor analysis to enable effective decisioning and forecasting of sales numbers
10.Act as a product expert, leveraging internal knowledge to build trust and respect with both internal and external customers
11.Maintain and report accurate business updates for management review
12.Sales Co-ordination
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
- Ensure process adherence at all times and error free timely delivery of projects.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available resources
Candidate Profile: MBAs with 10-15 years in Corporate / B2B sales in relevant organisations handling creation of new initiatives & industry specific B2B properties like events /conferences /roundtables /awards /knowledge partnerships
