Our MNC client is a Logistics provider with roots in ocean shipping and rail transport provides innovative, global supply-chain solutions across Automotive, Consumer, Industrial and Retail markets. 1. Brief Description The position is required to deliver company Sales Targets of Contribution Margin, Throughput & Revenue. The position will focus on the growth of container rail business carried on the company to support enterprise goals. The position will hold responsibility for meeting of individual territory sales targets with special emphasis on domestic business for cabotage, coastal products and long haul transportation vertical. 2. Key Result Areas: a. Achieve individual targets/KRA in his/her sales territory. b. Develop strong relationships with major customer segments of Indian corporates for domestic business, domestic forwarders, NVOCCs, corporates, and become a trusted business partner demonstrating industry expertise and knowledge to the customer network. c. Responsible for escalating the level of customer relationships to ensure longer term and stickier contracts by offering more value based solutions. d. Develop a realistic and accurate sales pipeline as the key leading KPI to provide input into planning of business growth. e. Ensure timely AR collection. 3. Key Accountabilities/Duties a. Work with domestic inter modal Ops team to develop and market integrated intermodal logistics solutions, development of cabotage cargo flows using existing service platforms, movement of coastal cargo etc. b. Understand and negotiate a profitable pricing structure and service-level agreement that will increase IndiaLinxs share of wallet in the transportation industry. c. Responsible for achieving AR targets. d. Maintain close coordination with commercial counterparts in partner ICDs to ensure company customer needs and commitments are met. e. Act as prime liaison between customers and the company for both new and existing accounts. Understand and interpret customer needs and be able to communicate to all stakeholders. f. Identify opportunities through market research and networking. g. Raise awareness of IndiaLinxs capabilities in potential customer organizations. 4. Incumbent specification Education: Graduate/Post Graduate degree. Experience: Similar or related industry experience of 10 - 15 years with extensive working knowledge of Rail and Road Transportation, network with domestic companies and forwarders, and proven client relationships. Skill Sets & Desired Competency: - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Negotiating skills. - Time management NOTE : Female candidates would be given preference.
