Manager - Sales - FMCG (Food or Dairy Technologist)

Company: This role is with a bioscience company based in Denmark, which develop and manufacture natural solutions and ingredients within the food, nutritional, pharma and agricultural industries.

Role: Its a senior role as Sales Manager (Dairy or Food Technologist)

Location: Bangalore


- Preferred candidate with skills - knowledge of the Dairy Industry, Network with exciting distributors and Sales skills with 10+ years of overall work experience and minimum 5 years of experience in Sales.

- Good Communication and Presentation skills in English with an ability to speak and understand Regional South Indian languages will be an added advantage.

- Good knowledge in Food & Dairy Industry

Role Description

a. Primary Responsibility - SALES:

1. Responsible for Sales of ingredients to major customers and taking into account the company's price structure and the actual market sales prices. Manage pricing, and margin according to regional targets and priorities

2. Mapping of Key accounts and thereby developing and executing 3 year strategy plan for key accounts.

3. Responsible for delivering agreed annual sales budget for Accounts in the region.

4. Provide reports on Account Sales, development projects and forecasts on monthly basis

5. Ensure technical support and product training for customers by effectively coordinating with local labs

6. Conduct market and competitor surveys as required.

7. Follow up on overdue customer accounts.

8. Responsible for coordinating participation in any relevant fairs and exhibitions to ensure optimal visibility of CH as an quality ingredient supplier.

9. Liaise where appropriate with Business development.

10. Understand and use the company sales tools including SAP, BI database. Build and tracks project progression in Salesforce.

11. Ensure support to sales team for innovation /inspiration days by effective coordination with Marketing team. Collaborate effectively with Technical, Marketing and other functions within the organization.

12. Develops and maintains key external business relationships needed to implement growth strategy and business development activities

13. Thorough understanding of customer needs, both stated and unarticulated.

b. Business Management:

1. Demonstrate good relationship with Large Corporate customers and important consultants in the region is must.

2. Excellent business and financial acumen

3. Strong communication, writing, presentation, and follow up skills

4. A successful track record in building and managing clients

5. Ability to work cross-functionally, influencing others to achieve results

6. Ability to travel up to 50% of time

7. Accomplish all assigned duties safely
