For a leading FMCG company we have a role of a Manager Sales. This role is a part of the Professional Business team and the incumbent will be responsible for trade engagement for professional business on regional/state level. The primary responsibility will be of business generation. The incumbent will be part of the core Professional Business team and would be supporting Trade Marketing Manager - Professional Business, in managing our trade partners.

Your role specifications

1. Key Channel partner Management

a. Conquest of key channel partners across regions.

b. Provide leadership to sales and technical teams to achieve key client market share conquest

2. Trade Marketing:

a. Pilot launch planning & new product launch planning & execution.

b. Account wise / region wise quarterly animation promotion planning.

c. Work closely with trade marketing in driving brand specific objectives.

d. Coordination with marketing function to identify trail generation sampling and activation plan across regions.

3. Supply Chain:

a. Coordination with regional supply chain team for ensuring stock availability for monthly primary invoicing.

b. Vendors and suppliers management in the field promo materials for trade support

4. Channel partner Execution:

a. Drive execution excellence with respect to Plano / Assortment / asset management / Activation / Share of Shelf etc.

b. Drive process and systems for execution through sales and technical team.

c. Coordinate with the IT team in driving technology objectives with the channel partners.

5. Business Generation

a. Actively generate secondary sales from channel partner through team of business development executives and technical advisors.

b. Responsible for monthly primary invoicing basis secondary sales generation, involves active distributor management and negotiations.

c. Ensuring positive market credit commitments and dealer ROI for maintaining health of business

Skills required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong analytical skills, achievement orientation

- People Management

- Collaboration with key stakeholders

- Experience of 10+ years in professional products sales with proven active team handling role as ASM/RSM is must of 2 years.

- Should have understanding of the Key account function for professional business requirements.

- Should have managed sales at a state/regional level.

- MBA/ PGDM is desirable.

- Candidate should have worked in professional companies, will be an added advantage .
