Sales Manager Cable Solution

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities :

1. Overall responsibility to achieve annual sales & order intake targets for Product area Cable entry solutions.

2. In a business development role identify profitable opportunities within existing customer base to improve company Share of wallet.

3. Responsible for identifying similar profitable opportunities with new customers either within or outside existing market segments.

4. Promote the company products & solutions through Technical seminars, Product demos & various other marketing & distribution channels. During interactions, the candidate will be required to interact with key stake holder within the customer organization.

5. To work with Head of sales to build and develop a sales strategy to achieve business targets for 3-5 year period. This strategy will be recorded in the form of a key account plan and will be integrated fully into the company.

6. He / She is authorised to and has responsibility for negotiating pricing, terms and conditions of sale and other commercial matters within the given boundaries issued by the company.

7. Maintaining a healthy business relationship with trade partners including distributors, agents etc.

8. Monitoring and management of customer satisfaction with customers.

9. Liaison with the program manager and relevant design manager/engineering for New Product Development (NPD) projects.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

What we are looking for:

1. Candidate should have a background in the Polymer Industry, Knowledge / Understanding of Polymer materials especially Rubber and their Behaviour & Process is required.

2. Good understanding of the molding process, working knowledge of different polymers used in the industry & their applications.

3. Based on technical specifications provided should be able to prepare a cost sheet for review & approvals from senior management.

4. Using a given set of specifications candidate should be able to prepare a commercial offer in line with market prices.

5. Responsible to ensure all AR are received within agreed time period & notify management in case of any potential bad debts.

6. He / She will have to prepare & participate in annual price negotiations with customers.

7. As required will also have to manage certain sales projects in line with agreed time lines & budgets.

8. Will be required to travel locally or internationally on short duration trips as per requirements.
