Purpose / Direction / Mission of this role:
The Sales Manager/ BDM is responsible and clearly focused on generating new sales, achieving and maintaining centre sales targets, marketing and financial objectives. Furthermore, He/she is responsible for the Profit and Loss of the centre, the management / development of the centre team specialised in customer service as well as ensuring high centre quality & standards are delivered.
Sales
- Generate profitable new business within the territory in order to exceed personal targets (Sales focus with 80%/90% dedicated time) by managing entire sales cycle from lead/enquiry development, sales tours, marketing and sell all product lines, negotiating and closing deals with prospective clients.
- Maintain high conversion and closing rates of at least 20%.
- Network with local market brokerage firms/agents
- Create and maintain positive relationships with existing clients that result in new business leads and maximizes opportunities for expansions and renewals to enhance revenue stream.
- Renew all existing client contracts achieving optimum rates in line with current pricing strategy
- Actively pursue client expansion leads
- Ensure high client retention in line with the centre retention targets
- Proactively generate new inquiries
Responsible for management of local/neighbour meeting room sales efforts
Actively promote all customer services and facilities both externally and internally
Customer Service
- Ensure teams work collectively to create an exceptional office environment that provides a professional, courteous and responsive impression with clients, their customers and guests through the development of exceptional standards in reception, communication, and servicing activity within the office operation.
Operations
- Ensure team members are appropriately organized and assigned by Customer Delight Manager to administer, manage and service client related work and corporate/centre back office work.
- Oversee the compliance and administration of centre finance and accounting systems and functions to include billing processing, budget management (profit and loss), and accounts payable processing.
People Management
- Overall responsibility for centre team
- Develop team by communicating business goals and objectives, establishing standards of conduct, holding team members accountable to goals, objectives and standards and communicating centre performance on a regular basis.
- Develop and manage operations by administering employee related functions to include training management, performance management and compensation review.
