Manager - Battery Sales

FUNCTION TITLE : Manager - Sales West region

BUSINESS : Battery/Energy Storage Business

BASE LOCATION : Ahmedabad (Gujarat)

AREA OF WORK : Western India

PURPOSE :

- Would be responsible for building and increasing the market share for the sales of Lithium Ion Battery Pack based energy storage solution in Motive and Stationary Segment in coordination with Head Business Development (Energy Storage Business).

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- To achieve the sales and revenue targets as well as growth of the business as per management guideline

- Marketing - Execute & Manage the regional marketing plan based on agreed road map that will drive business over a 6 to 18 months rolling window

- Accountable for ensuring effective implementation of the agreed marketing plan utilizing the resources available and within corporate guidelines - Keep a close track of market developments and consumer trends - Track the movements of competitors - products, promotion, pricing, communication, positioning

- Work with Design team to develop or improvise the products as per market requirement - Business Development

- Create strategy for new customer acquisition

- Plan and formulate a cost-efficient budget for the sales operations function

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs - Customer Relation Management

Focus Area :

- Drive business development, pre-sales and sales for Li-ion battery, to be utilized in various applications viz. e-bicycle, e-2W, e-3W, e-4W, e-Utility

- Vehicles, Telecom, UPS, Solar Home Lighting System, Inverters, etc.

- Develop business in offering solutions using Energy Storage System (ESS) for Industries, Data Centres, grid Integration of RE, etc.

- Candidate must have an experience on selling battery products or battery services to Private/Govt. Entities/ Corporate/ OEMs/ Dealers and other sale verticals

- Would be responsible for developing new business plans in coordination with Head - BD.
