Job Description - Manager - Risk Modeling

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strong analytical skills with interest in business dynamics are an essential requirement.

- The position requires good interpersonal and communication skills along with an ability to translate advanced analytical findings to business actions.

- Independent and innovative thinking is desired.

- The candidate should have good knowledge on Basel requirements and has worked in an IRB implementation engagement where he was responsible for model validation, enhancement and development.

- Candidate should have sound knowledge of modeling techniques used in Retail. Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling skills (logistic regression, CHAID and other data mining/predictive modeling skills)

- Knowledge of corporate rating/ modeling is an added advantage.

- Candidate is expected to possess working knowledge and understanding of applying concepts related to Calculus, Statistics & Probability & Econometrics, to the role.

- Excellent working knowledge of SAS/Base and SAS/Macro.

- Good working knowledge of R and SPSS is anadvantage.

- Good knowledge of MS-Office particularly excel and power point

- The candidate must be willing to travel

Qualification: Post Graduate (Masters or PHD degree), with specialization in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics Computers / Engineering, with sound hands-on experience in applying Quantitative Analytics.
