Manager - Risk Management

Reporting to : Chief Risk Officer at VP level

Job Description :

- To oversee and coordinate the successful implementation of Risk Management activities

- Facilitates development & documentation of the organization's risk appetite as approved by the board

- Implement and communicate appropriate Risk management policies across the entity

- Execution of the enterprise risk management process and infrastructure

- Facilitate enterprise wide risk assessment and assist managers of the business units during their assessment of risk and formulation of risk response

- Implement appropriate risk reporting to the board, audit committee and senior management

- Devise systems and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputs

- Facilitating risk management process to identify, quantify and prioritize the risk events and implement mitigation measure

- Create risk awareness across the organization and implement continuous training & shared learning

- Implement and practice a process for timely response to potential events impacting the entity

- Provide timely and accurate reporting to Chief Risk Officer / Management on all key parameters as needed

- Lead trainings & staff awareness sessions

- To manage the project in a multi-stakeholder environment, ensuring all stakeholders are informed, involved and appropriately supportive of the project.

- To ensure all required controls are implemented, documented and monitored so as to ensure full audit compliance.

- Ensures proper identification program and reporting of risk events or potential risk events

- Maintain an effective risk management program for the organization, including promoting (a) use of the online portal for reporting risk incidents; (b) heightened awareness of risky activities and consequent impact, and (c) understanding of new and existing risk events and related processes

- To demonstrate a practical approach to the project in hand and to promote and implement best practices

- To ensure an effective communication process is in place with line management and team members

- Create an environment of innovation and creativity that leads to continual process and service improvements
