Manager - Risk Control & Self Assessment - Banking/Financial Services

The responsibilities of the incumbent will include (but not limited to) the following:

- Drive the Controls program through Risk and Control testing for RCSA, SOX and IFC

- Act as a transition / migrations project manager / SME for offshoring initiatives or IAS projects across GSS Ops and demonstrate end-to-end ownership

- Engage with key stakeholders from Onshore & Offshore Controls, GSS LOB leads, IAS Governance, etc.

- Hold regular check-point meetings with key stakeholders and closely monitor deliverables to ensure a timely completion

- As a subject matter expert (SME) for Controls and Migration projects, perform quality checks and ensure compliance with firmwide standards / policies / procedures / guidelines

- Track and report status through scorecard / metrics / business control forums

- Support new initiatives within Controls from time-to-time

Education: Only CA/ MBA

Experience :

- Experience in Risk and Controls Programs

- Experience in managing transitions / migrations project for offshored service centers in India, preferably in Banking / Financial Services industry

- Act as a trusted business advisor and be able to provide clear guidance to key stakeholders

- Understands offshored function operations including relevant legal, compliance and tax requirements

- Demonstrates customer-centric approach and strong stakeholder management skills. Should be able to face senior management personnel with confidence and determination.

- Excellent collaboration, relationship management & partnering skills

- Be assertive and communicate effectively across multiple levels and handle challenging situations tactfully

- Displays strong analytical and problem solving skills and be able to challenge the status-quo

- Displays result-oriented approach to ensure timely completion of migration projects

- Proficient in MS Office applications and sound knowledge of risk, controls and compliance requirements

- Should be a self-starter and carry a proactive & positive approach

- Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on multiple projects

- Ability to work under pressure and make accurate decisions in challenging situations

- Should be comfortable working in shifts
