Role: Manager - Revenue Assurance Operations

Role Purpose:

- To improve revenues and profitability through the complete assurance of revenues and minimization of leakage.

- To design and support the operations infrastructure for the performance of Revenue Assurance controls within Co.

- To manage the incident resolution process relating to revenue and cost-impacting issues within Co.

- To support overall Revenue Assurance Shared Service operational performance and interfaces to customers

Qualifications required

Essential - CA/MBA from an institute of good repute

Preferable - CA

Experience Needed

- At least 3 year of experience as Revenue Assurance In charge in telecom, broadcasting industry, insurance complex, technology-oriented industry, OR

- 3 years of experience in Big-4 Audit & Assurance Firm with experience in revenue assurance audit

- A good appreciation of telecommunications technology

- At least 1 year of working knowledge with internal control and governance systems and environments

- At least 1 year of data analytics experience

Specific Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

- Provide input into Revenue Assurance strategy aligned with the overall MTN

Strategy

Control Framework Planning

- Risk and Control Framework evaluation and Design

- Control implementation planning and testing

Control and Analytics Management

- Data quality management, control performance root cause analysis and exception management

Incident Management/customer a/c reconciliation and complaint management

- Issue logging, quantification, resolution oversight and management communication.

Technology Management

- Control automation specification, design and implementation support Continuous Improvement

- Process and System improvement design, motivation and execution management.

Stakeholder Management

- Support for the framework development for the supply and performance of services from and to these customer and stakeholders

Audit Management

- Providing audit support provided to auditors during the performance of the audit

- Review, and input to audit findings, ensuring an optimal outcome for MTN

Revenue Assurance Governance Process

- Support the education of internal customers on the role of Revenue Assurance - through established governance forums

Reporting

- Prepare monthly RA Operations operational reports and give input into the overall Revenue Assurance monthly reporting
