Manager - Revenue Assurance & Accounting - IT

We have an opportunity with a exciting startup providing AI and SAAS based solutions to B2B Segment in EMEA, APAC, US and other countries with Head office in London.

Note : Position is 5 days working and 2-3 days from office and remaining days from home

Candidates should have experience in both revenue assurance and revenue accounting working with BIG 4 (currently or previous company)

About Role:

- This role will give you an opportunity to work with growing startup with challenges that will ultimately lead to your overall growth as will be able to see things from scratch.

- This role is about Accurate revenue recognition with proper documentation and controls . To get data audited without any difficulty.

Job Role:

- Ensuring revenue recognition is in accordance with the company's policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standard ASC 606 and IFRS

- Maintaining end to end revenue process documentation

- Identify and implement internal controls over revenue reporting and process improvements

- Responsible for designing Revenue Assurance systems by working closely with the billing team and enabling effective reconciliations on transaction level

- Interacting with legal, sales ops, FPNA. sales, pricing and product groups on project, deal structuring, contract clauses related to revenue recognition.

- Managing projects including proposal for improvement

- Should have experience to work in multi geography environment & GAAP understanding

- Understand complexity of unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, promotions accounting etc

- Assist with financial audits including reconciliations, support documentation, and communication with external auditors

- Implementing proactive early warning indicators red flags, patterns/exceptions through Data Analytics.

- Should be good at presenting facts with data.

- Actively participate in new system initiatives, including configuration and upkeep of NetSuite's revenue streams and assist with period-end close activities

Requirements:

- CA / MBA Finance

- Relevant years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm having experience in audit or consultancy of tech companies.

- Good understating of International revenue recognition standards

- Good drafting skill from commentary to accounting flows for each revenue stream.
