Individual must have good communication skills &amp; must be adept at stakeholder management. - Will be responsible for effectively running and controlling the Forward material flow for an Inventory led business and driving efficiencies. - Act as an Operations Command centre and will be gauging the periodic process performance through the numbers coming out of several source systems. - Role demands understanding operations through numbers and is desirable to index on data interpretation skills. - He/She has to deal with daily ambiguities to resolve the issues and unblock material flows within TAT and also contribute to design corrections to enable us to develop long-term solutions for process defects. - Role would involve fair bit of data modelling, simulation &amp; setting up correct dashboards using R /Excel/ Tableau - Single touch point for all Business Units (category Teams) for all operational planning and controls. - Should be able to interpret the numbers to find out the bottlenecks of operations and troubleshoot them with the right stakeholders. This would be one of the most critical aspects of the job - He will be expected to set several visibility formats that will be used to interpret the health of operations. Ability to understand how different underlying factor influence the outcome is a key to success in this role - Will be responsible for the operational effectiveness of the assigned area and will be measured on metrics like Cash Flow from Operations, Productivity, capacity utilization level, Vendor's Net Promoter Score, variability reduction, etc. He/she will be working with a cross-functional team spread across Category functions and downstream supply functions.
