Manager - Retail Operations

Strategic Planning:


- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve retail objectives in alignment with the company's overall goals. Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to drive business growth.

Operational Excellence:

- Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all retail activities, including sales, inventory management, and customer service. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

- Recruit, train, and mentor retail staff to ensure high levels of productivity, professionalism, and customer service. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages employee engagement and career development.

- Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and replenishment processes to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts. Implement effective inventory control measures to reduce shrinkage and improve inventory turnover ratios.

Customer Experience:

- Champion a customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service and resolving customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. Implement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience and build long-term customer loyalty.

- Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop sales targets and strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales projections.

- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and promotional activities.

- Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to retail operations.

- Mitigate operational risks and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize liabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven track record of success in retail operations management, preferably in a leadership role.

- Experience of having worked with a well reputed retail chain/group and having serviced HNI/UHNI clients would definitely be an advantage.

- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and performance metrics.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work effectively under pressure.
