Manager - Research & Development - Electricals/Semiconductors

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Overall responsibility for all product development efforts, in house and outsourced.

- Manage and allocate resources according to business-driven priorities

- Project management for all R&D activities

- Development and maintenance of team skills and qualifications

- Interaction and coordination with sales, marketing and technical support teams

Key Attributes :

- A mature leader and team player with personal integrity, willing to fill in as needed and able to inspire and develop a qualified R&D team with firmware, software, and electronics development

- Strong leadership skills and ability to drive projects according to timeline

- Experience from implementation and use of professional engineering QA practices & best practices for software development life cycle control

- Excellent communication skills, relating comfortably to domestic and international customers as well as technical experts

Qualification and Experience :

- MSc or BSc in electronics or computer science or equivalent degree

- More than 10 years of relevant work experience with B2B product development focused on embedded firmware, RTOS and protocol stacks.

- Experience in electronics and software is plus.

- Experience from working with sub suppliers and consultants in sw, fw and hw development

- Experience from development or use of RF-based electronics will be beneficial.
