Manager - Research & Development - Air Filters

Responsibilities:

1. Identify the needs and gaps in the product portfolio along with the category manager (marketing)

2. Scout for advanced technologies and build technology partnerships (develop, acquire, partner) to build a rich IP portfolio for these categories

3. Product & Technology development and create Product/Technology Road Map

4. Design and Specify Product Architecture as per Market Requirements (Need/seed based)

5. Meeting the relevant Compliance safety standards and regulatory requirements

6. Identify/Build the pool of suppliers of high quality products and critical components

Requirements & Skills:

1. Working experience in Air purifiers and air filtration mechanisms

2. Understanding of the core concepts of air flow dynamics, air management, filtration systems, filter media and noise level management

3. Exposure to Smart & connected products, Sensors, HMIs/ display to build products with self-diagnostic capabilities and data generation

4. Knowledge of regulatory & safety standards & test protocols as per Indian & global standards

5. Creativity and analytical skills

6. Should have Good written/oral communication skills, inter-personnel skills & Self-motivation.

7. A good team player, capable of handling and motivating a team for successful project delivery

8. Engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering

9. 7 to 12 years of relevant experience

10. Exposure to Vacuum Cleaner Product Development is an added advantage.
