We are hiring Manager - Research & Consulting (Chemical Vertical) for a leading Research and Advisory firm in Mumbai!  About the client:  Our client specializes in providing custom knowledge processing services & solutions covering Research, Advisory & Analytics, Intellectual Property, Technology & Patents Research, Data & Content Management and Sales & Marketing.  Role:  - Client management: Responsible for understanding client’s business needs and designing solutions; managing client’s expectations; interpretation of results fulfilling clients’ needs; account mining   - Project management: Leading multiple large-to-medium-sized engagements and ensuring high quality output – understanding client’s objectives and requirements; designing appropriate and innovative research approach and methodology; designing / effectively delegating questionnaires that suit clients’ needs; plan project milestones and timeline; handle execution / bottlenecks during execution; monitor actual performance against budgeted costs and taking necessary remedial action when required; presentation to client and managing client expectation   - Team management: Having coherent understanding of the chemicals (mainly specialty & fine chemicals) domain to guide the team in their research; lead a team of senior analysts, analysts and associates; guide them on research approaches & methodologies and project execution; delegating effectively and supervising the progress of all team members; foster and promote pleasant working environment for all team members Supporting Project Manager / AVP / VP in team development (hiring, training, mentoring, career management, etc.) and handling business development (preparing collaterals like proposals, teasers, discussion documents, case studies, sanitized deliverables, white papers, etc.) activities Handling in-house knowledge management; building thought leadership within the team.   - A passion for Business Research & Consulting, high level of ownership, a team player   Desired Profile:  - Graduate / Post Graduate in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Paint Technology, Food Technology, Chemistry, etc. (MBA not mandatory, however, would be an added plus)  - 6-10 years of experience with 4-5 years of relevant experience in Business Research & Consulting (preferably custom chemical projects)   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent client handling skills and highly self-motivated  - Excellent team and project management skills Adept in MS-Office suites (especially MS-PowerPoint and MS-Excel)  Looking forward to highly motivated and passionate candidates from Business Research & Consulting background to take ownership of the vertical  Deepika|Senior Relationship Manager 09540361555
