Manager Reporting

Job Location: Bangalore (Embassy Tech Village)

Empower India is looking for a Manager to lead a team of analysts/ data engineers/ BI professionals (this role is part of the Analytics CoE). Responsible for leading the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence solutions and solving complex data needs to drive timely decisions by senior executives

Role Responsibilities:

- Lead a team that is responsible for providing management with targeted, incisive and succinct dashboards, reports, and analyses that promote data-driven decisions

- Provide strategic input and support of the organization's Business Intelligence roadmap implementation and continued evolution

- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; anticipating bottlenecks and monitoring success

- Implement advanced strategies for data sourcing, transformation and making it business ready

- Design dashboards and interfaces for business users (at various levels). Design data flow architecture and end-user interface using visualization tools

- Responsible for up-skilling the team and manage performance to ensure Solutions are designed and delivered as per roadmap

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate in any discipline

- Post-graduate degree in Business Management/Statistics/Economics/Technology/

Finance/ Mathematics is a plus

Required(Mandatory) Experience:

- 9-13 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, data science or related experience; along with people management experience

- Expert knowledge on SAS, SQL, Tableau programing languages, and their application to source and transform data and design production based solutions for end users

- Prior experience in leading teams of BI and Analytics professionals with demonstrated solutions for business

Required skills and competencies:

- Experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and Reporting, with client facing and consulting expertise

- A performance-oriented, resourceful and competitive individual with a high sense of urgency

- Able to prioritize analytical requests in face of changing priorities and competing demands

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong aptitude for problem solving

- Extensive experience in report, dashboard, and scorecard design/implementation

- An individual of the highest integrity, whose professional and personal conduct reflects favorably upon the company

- Normal Office Working Conditions

- Work shift is 1:30PM-10:30PM

We are NOT looking for Modelling and Machine learning Experience, but looking for Business Intelligence and Analytics with SAS experience.
