Manager - Regulatory Compliance - Credit Card - Bank

Roles and responsibilities

1. Monitor industry regulatory activities and other trends (external and internal) in order to take pre-emptive actions.

The activity includes :

- Tracking of regulatory notifications on regulatory web portals

- Review of applicability of a notification, directions, guidelines for Bank Credit Card

- Tracking of implementation of applicable regulatory notifications/guidelines for reporting the implementation status in various senior management forums

- Competition Benchmarking from Compliance perspective.

2. Support timely submission of data/information for audit and regulatory examination

3. Monitor implementation of audit recommendations by internal/external auditors and regulators and ensure its timely and effective closure

4. Monitor timely submissions of various reports/returns/responses to RBI and other regulator by business functions.

5. Partner with relevant functions as appropriate to drive various compliance program requirements by communicating relevant regulatory guidelines and reviewing Business Requirement Document from regulatory perspective

6. Support Bank Credit Card functional areas to deliver regulatory initiatives projects/New Product/Process initiative.

7. Assist in drafting of business representation to regulators

8. Review Policies and Processes across function (Primarily relating to Credit card) from Compliance and Regulatory perspective

9. Tech savvy for examining tech related proposals for ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements.

10. Implementation (Primarily relating to Credit card compliance perspective) of the operating guidelines/ recommendations received from the Board its Committees and Internal Management Committees.

11. Provide inputs/recommendations to cross functional project teams from a regulatory perspective.

12. Drive reporting and timely completion of Regulatory Initiatives and escalation of issues to senior management
