QA/QE MANAGER - Mobile Services Ecosystem
Since May 2017, We have started offering Mobility services to its Subscribers - as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO).
- The ecosystem of our Mobile comprises of a Billing & Order Management solution, Business logic implemented as Web-applications deployed as Microservices - consumed by a variety of Web/Mobile front end systems and integrating with a diverse set of internal Databases / Data warehousing platforms.
- We're looking for a QA/QE Manager for the program, who- d help us assess-certify-ascertain the functional & non-functional aspects of our Mobile Services ecosystem.
Role :
QA/QE - Manager for Mobile Services ecosystem
Core Responsibilities :
- Work with Product, design & Development teams to understand the requirements, translate into QA strategy/plan
- Anchor Component-level In-Sprint (Functional), E2E (Functional as well as Non-Functional) testing with a pool of test engineers
- Improve Automation coverage, reduce Automation lag & improve Defect Removal Efficiency
- Perform Test Escape Analysis and other relevant best practices to improve defect detection at early stages of the cycle
- Ensure effective Triaging of defects found and reduce defect rejection
- Perform On-demand & Ad-hoc testing on Pre-production, Production systems
- Enhance existing QA Dashboards and generate business/product stakeholder relevant reports for a variety of QA metrics including CoQ
Experience :
Engineering Degree with a minimum of 12 years- experience, with 6+ years in QA (Functional, E2E Testing) exposure on Web / Mobile Applications in Retail/e-commerce /Telco BSS Space
- Atleast 3+ Years of working in Agile methodology based Software Product Lifecycle, preferably using JIRA as the core process tool
Required skills :
- Managing/Leading geo-distributed QA teams & interacting with Product/Business Teams independently
- Experience of being part of Release Management / Change Approval Boards to Prioritize Testing efforts & drive release calls
- Hands-on experience with Web, Mobile, Web service Testing & Automation tools (including Selenium, jMeter, SOAPUI etc)
- Ability to devise Test strategies & create stubs etc of components in a Test environment
- Exposure to DevOps tools and ecosystem
- Understanding of QA trends / methodologies for large-scale consumer (B2C) & business (B2B) facing applications
- Familiar with Web Front-end Technologies / Frmaeworks (Javascript, Angular JS, React etc) & Mobile (Andriod,iOS) App Platforms
- Familiar with Containers, Microservices (& migration from traditional webservices), Public/Hybrid Cloud infrastructure
