Manager - Purchase/Strategic Buyer - Automotive OEM

Looking for a candidate who'll be responsible for:

1. Commodity Sourcing activities in the indian market in agreement with the regional/ Global sourcing strategies and purchasing activities.

2. Develop/ align and execute regional /global sourcing strategies for commodities.

3. Preparation and execution of purchasing budget within company guidelines.

4. Monthly purchasing performance reporting.

5. Active participation in regional/ global commodities meetings and execute actionale items.

6. GPMS core team member to ensure flawless launches of new products working closely with sQD team and suppliers.

7. Negotiation with suppliers to meet purchasing objectives.

8. Identify and manage high risk suppliers and work on back-up plan.

9. Ensure that contracts, quote proposals and supplier agreements for production material/ components follow legal correctness and contain pricing and delivery information that is necessary to conduct business as per the requirements outlined by the purchasing team .

10. Ensure EHS legal compliances in purchasing function.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 out of which at least 5 years in lead purchasing role.
