PR Manager

About the Role: This position will be responsible development of narratives and content that can drive internal and external awareness of organisational business. Manage various stakeholders including journalists, media and potential future employees. You will be instrumental in development and creation of all PR content to support various campaigns

Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee and refine thought leadership content while taking ownership for executing the strategy across.

- Build and maintain a network of relationships with tier 1 media organizations and relevant trade publications.

- Managing enquiries from media, individuals and other portfolio organisations

- Ensure the strategic content roadmap with respect to internal PR strategy.

- Support, where necessary, engagement in external events.

- Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media

- Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation

- Managing and sharing content with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook

- Secure positive media coverage and meaningful engagement with influencers in the Digital industries.

- Implement high standards of accuracy and quality for all content.

- Work closely with the marketing and brand management team to ensure that all content and messaging are optimal.

- Be an active partner with the social media team to secure maximum awareness and reach.

- Manage the implementation, tracking and reporting of key metrics against targets.

Job Requirements :

- At least 4 years of experience in PR and content creation.

- 4-year university/college degree required in Marketing or Business Administration.

- Proven tier 1 media and trade media relationships.

- Experience marketing to candidates before joining a company or retaining employees.

- Have a strong social media presence/profile.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to make persuade and delight a variety of individuals, including executives, customers and prospects. Strong professional writing skills are a must.

- Highly organized and structured.

- Open to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong work ethic.

- Candidates with experience in PR are a plus.
