The role holder will be responsible for establishing a project plan, working with project contributors (IT, OPS, FO, etc) to capture milestones and track progress using a project Dashboard. You will also have the responsibility of tracking Risks, Issues, assumptions and decisions.

- Work with analysts, IT developers and others to capture in a project plan all tasks, milestones and dependencies
- Track resource consumption both in terms of effort and budgets
- Help coordinate work across teams and functions
- Contribute to regulatory governances
- Interaction with key Markets support Functions including Operations, Compliance, Finance and Product Control, and Technology with regards to Management Office governance forums and associated information gathering
- Support the Head of Business and Global COO in Equities / GM initiatives & managing ad-hoc requests
- Ability to drive change through effective project planning and execution on regulatory driven projects and initiatives
- Positive collaboration with the COO, Reg. team, and other teams within the Equities functions & also beyond Equities with partners in other asset classes and support function
- Enhance & develop understanding of the Reg. topics to become Champions in Transformation programs
- Effective PLAs for all processes with strong governance and oversight
- Consistent and accurate checks on control reports, trade exceptions and escalations
- Timely updates on any actions due for the projects/ programmes
- Publishing accurate MIs and management pack
- Ensure timely information is produced on a routine and streamlined basis
- Feedback from the Global Management team
Customers / Stakeholders:
- Equities Business Management, COO Community, Desk Heads and other key Front Office resources Globally
- Equities Global support functions including Operations, Compliance, Finance and Product Control, and Technology
- Head of Markets, Bangalore
- Feedback from Key Markets stakeholders
- Effective communication networks used to maintain positive relationships and gather momentum on items as necessary
- Ability to drive change with COO Community & Business Managers
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role - not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)
- Exp required 4 to 6 years in the markets or investment banking industry.
Qualification - Post Graduation or MBA with experience of Banking industry will be preferred.
- Experience in regulatory project management
- Analytical Skills - proven interpretation and utilisation of management information
- Ability to distil complex and varied data into information; good process analysis and problem solving skills
- Advanced level of MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure that information is captured in a timely manner
- Excellent written, verbal & presentation communication skills
- The ability to quickly understand business requirements and concerns and deliver a quality result to them
