Manager - Project Finance - Agriculture/FMCG/Chemicals/Mining/Oil & Gas - CA

Manager Project Finance :

- The position is responsible for managing Accounting & Reporting for project operation. This includes ensuring overall compliance to all statutory norms, timely payments to all vendors suppliers and employees etc.

- The role is also responsible for project CWIP review and timely capitalisation.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

- Accurate and Timely operations of accounts payable function

- CWIP review and Capitalisation as per SOP & Ind As

- Adherence to Statutory Compliance

- Timely preparation monthly financial statements

- Accurate and Timely preparation of MIS reports

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Accounts Payable Operations

- Monthly Review of Work in Progress & Analysis of completed Asset

- Co-ordination with project team for Capitalisation & allocation of cost

- Scrutiny of expenses booked under Project for eligibility

- Bifurcation & Allocation of cost related to project Pre-Operative Exp / Scrap / Material Cost

- Fund requirement & Cash flow panning for Internal Order

- PR / PO review for accuracy of work order created & proper utilisation of fund

- Tracking cash flow of project fund separately

- Ensure smooth operation of the routine accounting functions at Co.

- Ensure accurate uploading and subsequent authorization of various e-net payment

- Ensure timely payments to creditors, vendors, suppliers and employees

- Stock Audit as per internal Guidelines

- Reconciliations in payments is made in an efficient and accurate manner

- Review accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records

- Scrutinize and ensure adequate financial controls are implemented at all locations and proactively escalate if required

- Fixed Assets Review in line with internal policy

- Project budget & IO Control

- Tracking of internal Order budget and scrutinize expenses booked under the same to ensure accuracy of IO utilization

- Ensure accurate tracking pf POE Exp / Finance charges & interest cost

- Creation & maintenance of AUC under project

- Ensure timely MIS related to project cost & utilization of fund under project

Statutory Compliance and Audit :

- Prepare data required for various audits; coordinate and support statutory and tax audits to ensure completion within prescribed timelines

- Monitor compliance of statutory transfer pricing provisions including documentation of international and domestic transactions

- Support Tax Audit and provided all necessary information as required

- Interface with Tax Auditors and regulatory authorities for assessments and remittances and clarify / resolve gaps, issues

- Ensure compliance to control guidelines and corporate audit observations

Qualification And Experience :

1. CA with 2-3 years experience in originating loans, guarantees and/or equity transactions, managing due diligence, financial modeling mitigating credit and other risks, negotiating term sheets and finance documentation and related project finance activities.

2. Experience in forex, hedging, financing and deal structuring for project finance. Innovative deal and transaction structuring

3. Strong IFRS Knowledge

4. Knowledge On: Gaap, Budgeting & Budget Monitoring, Legal and Statutory Requirements

5. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

6. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

7. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

8. Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

9. Ability to present to senior level executives

10. Strong executive relationship management skills; ability to negotiate difficult positions without harming relationships
