This is an opportunity for a Solution Design Manager/Project Manager/Due Diligence Manager/Transition Manager for a Premium Telecom Giant, located in Gurgaon.

Role Title : Solution Design Manager/Project Manager/Due Diligence Manager/Transition Manager

Job Family : Project Management

Typically reports to (role) : Head of Due Diligence

Roles that will typically report to this role : Due Diligence Specialist

- Manager-Due Diligence in CDSS (Contract Delivery Shared Services) Gurgaon is responsible for Analysing and Conducting Due Diligence, on approved Work Packages to be Transitioned into CDSS delivery hub.

- The role holder should be able to independently manage end to end due diligence of activities for Work Packages of Medium to Large projects into CDSS hubs and do detailed analysis on end to end process area, systems landscapes, people touch points etc for customer organisation.

- The role holder should be able to effectively work with global contract teams both face to face and remotely to carry out due diligence and support Transition activities. Additionally, the role holder should be able to work with the CDSS delivery hub operations, Service Delivery and Tower leads to successfully transfer activities into an SLA compliant live state.

- The role will identify and asses transition opportunities and document the same for CDSS back office functional work from existing Functional Units into CDSS, ensuring adherence to quality parameters during and post transition.

- The role holder will be required to build core business, technology and industry expertise helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions that enable clients to become high performance businesses.

- The candidate must be a service professional with deep knowledge in Business process management and re-engineering in a Telecommunications environment.

- Process consultants demonstrate expertise in organizing people and processes to enable radical improvement by using comprehensive process analysis and redesign techniques in order to accomplish a desired change.

- The role holder should also have the ability to influence operations, Service Delivery and Service Tower teams by adopting best working practices, engaging them early during development of scope, planning stages, quality assurance to support a smooth and sustainable transition into CDSS service.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborating with internal business units on major shared services and outsourcing projects

- Identify opportunities to rolling out a shared services model

- Responsible for coaching the team to ensure best practices are applied in accordance with the CDSS methodology and quality assurance parameters.

- Work under the guidance of the CDSS head of Due Diligence to ensure all assignments are planned and executed within the CDSS framework methodology.

- Develop and manage a solution led approach which facilitates account profitability. Influence customer decisions that create mutual wins.

- Good understanding of productivity improvement and operational excellence.

- Recommend future business offerings/ objectives/ projects aligned to market opportunities.

- Work on small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients. On site,off site or hybrid.

Business work-flow modeling :

- Mapping & analysing As-Is process,New Process Modelling and developing To-Be processes

- Implementing re-engineered processes

- Streamlining processes & driving existing Process improvement

Customer experience management - Design and delivery :

- Developing strong relationships and teams

- To identify and flag key issues impacting the success of the deliverables, and to implement influencing programmes and actions plans to achieve resolution.

- Recommend new opportunities to improve operational performance & work with partner to identify opportunities to smooth transitions.

- Set up weekly calls and meetings with relevant stakeholders

- Must have the ability to accurately dashboard project progress against agreed deliverables tracking and controlling associated actions, issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies.

- Highlight and track any issues and risks to the stakeholders which could impact the timelines and effect Service delivery

- Conduct information gathering sessions (F2F or via conference calls) with the contract teams to understand the activities performed by the contract manager and map the same to the CDSS scope of work.

- Do effort analysis on the CDSS related contact activities to derive FTE numbers.

- Prepare process flows / swim lanes to depict the role and activities CDSS will perform in the complete contract life cycle.

- Formulate a DD report providing output of the DD study - CDSS scope of work, FTE number, volumetric, SLAs, swim lane and RACI responsibilities

- Manage full DD for medium to large projects following the CDSS methodologies and templates

- Take the DD report for a formal sign off via the CDSS management team.

- Should be flexible to travel outside India to conduct Due Diligence.

Domain Development :

- Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral

Business Impact :

- Ownership for Transition of work packages into CDSS delivery hub. Under-performance will impact/ delay migration of work into CDSS and have a adverse impact into overall GS cost reduction program.

Experience :

- Experience working with senior level executives

- preferred MBA from a Tier 1/2 B School.

- Global exposure is desirable.

Desired Skills and attributes :

- Excellent documentation skills. Expertise in Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

- Basic level understanding of MS Project plans & MS Visio

- Excellent influencing, communication skills and presentation skills

- Self-starter, flexible and result-oriented

- Excellent articulation, communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.

- Open to travel overseas for client meetings and execution

- Relevant Shared services and IT/ITES advisory experience (preferable in the Telecom sector)

- Strong stakeholder management experience

Note : Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Certification is mandatory.
