We have the following exciting opening with an MNC Consulting firm to be based in Gurgaon. They are setting up their "Project Advisory Disputes Practice" in India. The practice already exists in UK, France, Dubai.

We are currently looking to recruit "Project Advisory Dispute (PAD) Managers" for our Client with experience and expertise in delivery of large scale projects. For these projects the candidates would work under and with Partners and Directors.

Please note the profile requires aggressive traveling and would require frequent trips to London, Paris and Dubai offices and is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend a part of their first 12 months based outside of India.

Position : Project Advisory Dispute (PAD) Managers

Location : Gurgaon

Compensation : 20- 28L

Experience : 7 to 10 years

Job Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all data necessary is both available and reliable for the Partner / Director to make decisions;

Be a direct contributor to the achievement of the targets and production of work products including research, forensic investigation and report writing etc. associated with the engagement;

Where the engagement involves multiple internal service lines liaise and collaborate with other team members and/or the Partners / Directors involved;

Develop and maintain a working relationship with the client and/or instructing law firm;

Contribute to the feedback mechanism within the organisation for the development of PAD skills across all geographies; and

Assist the Partner / Director in business development activities such as developing commercial proposals for potential engagements etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

A minimum of an engineering degree from a recognized University or other relevant qualification with a consistently good academic record;

Past experience of working on engineering, construction, manufacturing, energy or oil and gas projects for a minimum of 7 to 10 years, where he/she was involved in at least one of the following areas; -

Project Management;

Planning / project controls; -

Quantity surveying / cost control; and

Contract management / administration.

An interest in the discipline of delay and/or quantum forensic analysis;

Previous work experience of working on construction or engineering disputes in litigation and/or arbitration / DISPUTE MANAGEMENT would be an added advantage.
