Manager - Production Strategy - Manufacturing - IIM/IIT/MDI/NIT/FMS/BITS

Position of Manager - Production Strategy is on offer with a leading manufacturing brand. Below are some job responsibilities:

- Preparing Production Strategy and advising Top management to solve complex business problems and build solutions to achieve sustainable growth.

- Identifying and presenting process gaps, control gaps and potential cost saving opportunities to the stakeholders

- Implementing supply chain improvement initiatives

- Planning of solution via risk analysis, cost benefit analysis and other tools

- Using different statistical analysis like regression for framing solutions

- Implementation of solutions and measuring the effect. Helping client in developing SOPs

- Initiating culture of continuous improvement with introduction of concepts like kaizen

- Cost optimization of spares with the help of zero based costing and development of alternate vendors

- Operational diagnostic for a copper product manufacturer

- Throughout improvement by optimizing machine usage, machine allocation and shop floor activities

- Manufacturing cost reduction by aligning the product with customer requirement

- Implementation of 5S for improved productivity

- Consolidation of production planning to reduce changeovers hence reducing cost and time

- Managing operation and maintenance of Material handling & Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)

- Assist and involve in capex & improvement project evaluation, due diligence of Machinery, along with all techno commercial aspects, negotiation with Vendor

- Constantly drive for high performance (efficiency improvements)

- Drive towards proper maintenance schedule & ensure 100% uptime for material handling equipment's & Automated Storage & Retrieval system Purchase & Inventory management

- Scheduling, forecasting, negotiating and maintaining purchase to pay cycle for regularly consumed BOM part

- Lead various profit improvement projects with the help of lean & six sigma methodology
