Manager - Production - Food Manufacturing

Antal is looking for a Food Technology / Dairy Technology production professional for a leading Food Manufacturing MNC.

- To lead and manage the production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s).

Reports To: Deputy General Manager - Plant

Key Responsibilities:-

- Plan daily production based on targets, inventory levels and delivery schedules.

- Manage Production operations to achieve planned targets, Labor Cost and direct operating expenses and indirectly achieve planned Net Sales and Cash Flow.

- To support the production activities in the execution of production runs by monitoring plant equipment operation, identification of technical breakdowns, provide technical advice and solutions for small breakdowns, execution of scheduled and non-scheduled servicing, management of regular maintenance.

- Monitor the manpower requirements, overtime and verification of jobs completed by assistance

- Maintain on line quality checks for all products so as to obtain finished goods meet all standard requirements.

- Adheres to and enforces Company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards in accordance with all written Perkins System and Spec Manuals and Company documents.

- Plan ingredients, Packing material, cleaning sanitation chemicals, stationery etc. needed for day to day production.

- Ensure CIP, GHP and GMP are practices in operation and machinery for production are in good condition to have uninterrupted production.

- Keep track and record of all material required for production to ensure their availability, advise purchase and stores as needed.

- Support Maintenance team for preventive maintenance plan of equipment, machinery, and support systems are strictly scheduled.

- Control the material wastages in the production by effective supervision.

- Ensure associates are trained to do jobs efficiently.

- Prepare management reports and submit in time.

- Support R & D in developing and scaling up of new products commercially.

- Resolve all data issues related to operation of ERP system.

- Actively participate in ISO, HACCP and GMP implementation and audits.

- Provide inputs for CAPEX plan for production.

Experience & Education

- Diploma or equivalent Degree in Food Technology / Dairy Technology.

- 7 - 10 years experience with dairy / non - dairy products;

- Experience in production Management.

Functional Requirements:

- Be familiar with modern management system.

- Good knowledge of ISO 22000 system.

- Speaks and write fluent English and local language
