We are looking for Production Manager for our FMCG client deals with Personal Care and Hair Care products for Mozambique (Africa) location .   BE with MBA (Supply Chain /Operations ) preferred .  REPORTING TO: Business / Country Head  JOB PURPOSE: The role involves overseeing the operations of manufacturing facility, developing and implementing strategy to increase productivity.  EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7-8 years of manufacturing experience in FMCG industry.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Responsible for overall production activities for the business.  - Implementing best in class manufacturing processes   - Formulating operations plan (long term & short term) in collaboration with sales & marketing team.  - Identifying and executing cost reduction projects and process improvements (Six Sigma, Lean etc).  - Preparing operating plans for the factory including the resources required to meet the same e.g. raw materials, packaging materials, human resources etc.  - Implementing the long term and short term quality improvement plans for the factory.  - Ensuring compliance with quality norms and safety standards.  - Planning & implementing cost effectiveness programs.   - Implementing robust safety and environment management system in line with the company policies and statutory requirements.  SKILLS REQUIRED:  - Production Management  - Good communication and presentation skills  - Good Interpersonal skills  - Decision Making and Problem solving skills  - Good Analytical skills
