Manager - Product Marketing - IT (10-12 yrs)

Role Brief:

To play a critical part in the success of the company's products by creating and implementing successful product marketing, strategic, and commercial product management plans that pique consumer interest, encourage product adoption, and more.

The role description details:

Strategic Product management - Develop market (geography or country) strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives of those market, considering market trends, customer insights and competitive analysis.

Market intelligence - staying updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape through market research, customer feedback and industry analysis and incorporating insights into marketing strategies and plans.

Content creation - creating high-quality marketing content, such as product collaterals, sales presentations, website copy and thought leadership pieces to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.

Sales enablement - collaborating with the sales teams to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell the products, including sales presentations, product training and competitive analysis.

Commercial Product Management - Develop pricing strategies and policies for different markets and market segments in discussions with internal and external stakeholders

Customer relationship management - building and maintaining strong relationships with customers gathering customer feedback and incorporating customer insights into product marketing strategies.

Product positioning and messaging - creating and refining product position and messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition of company's products to target customers and differentiates them from competitors.

Market segmentation - conducting market segmentation analysis to identify and target specific customer segments with tailored marketing strategies and campaigns. - Developing long-term portfolio strategy and identifying opportunities for new product development

Cross-functional collaboration - Working closely with other teams including product management, platform, engineering, customer experience and sales for aligning product marketing initiatives. Act as a bridge between the Product Management team , Business and Customer Experience teams to develop promotional programs & tools to support the delivery of product plans & new product launches. Monitoring competitors' products to identify competitive gaps and opportunities.

Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy - developing comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches and major product updates, including market entry plans, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns. Support the marketing team in their campaigns - on digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing and other marketing tactics to generate leads, drive product adoption and increase brand awareness.

Key Requirements - MBA/Equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, or a related field.

- 10-15 years of hands-on experience in a product marketing/product manager/pre-sales role and a demonstrated track record of driving growth in a similar product category.

- Must possess strong expertise across various aspects of marketing, including brand marketing, content management, digital marketing, and performance marketing. - Prior experience in launching new products or new markets is a strong plus.

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and comfortable dealing with the media.

- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

- Role includes travel to meet for cross functional collaboration, events and customer visits within and outside country. Approximately 10-20% of travel involved.
