Manager - Product Engineering & Technical Support - Petroleum Specialty & Performance Products

The Organisation :

A leading multi-product, multi location conglomerate with world class products and services encompassing the entire product spectrum of petroleum specialties business. They offer an exhaustive range of over 500 world class products covering wide spectrum of application, as well as specialty segments of the industry. The products are used widely across 18 - 20 different industries.

The Role :

- Has a mix of Product Development, Research and Business Development.

- Responsible for bringing in the necessary technical / product related expertise and information on petrochemical products / lubricants and it's applications in different industries given below to drive sales :

a) Power & Energy,

b) Food, Pharma, Cosmetics,

c) Process Industry, Tyres, Wax,

d) Lubricants

- To support Exports SBU across regions including EMEA, APAC, AMS incl LA in terms of technical / quality related queries related to the product.

- Preparation of PDS.

- Update the Sales team about emerging markets,products etc.

The Person :

- Engineering / Chemistry graduate with 5-10 years relevant experience in lubricant companies with exposure to product development / quality / maintenance etc. in one or more of the following industries preferred :

a) Power & Energy,

b) Food, Pharma, Cosmetics,

c) Process Industry, Tyres, Wax,

d) Lubricants

Experience / Exposure / Knowledge/ Understanding of regulations and customer expectations of overseas / export customers is a key differentiator for the role.

A person with a mix of product development and business development experience would be ideal.

Candidates with relevant experience in Chemical / Petro / Lube industry only apply.
