Skills : Material Selection, Metallography in ferrous and non-ferrous, Powder metal components, Surface coating-laser cladding, PTA, Thermal Spray, Failure analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Light Optical Microscopy, powder production - Sponge and atomized, heat treatment (conventional and LPC), Brazing, risk analysis, Project management

Focus Areas :

- Metal Matrix Composite, Ceramics, Bulk Metallic glasses, Nano tech, High entropy alloys, Computational materials science.

- Development, Synthesis and Characterization of materials for Wear, Corrosion and Elevated Temperature applications.
