Manager - Product Control - Investment Bank

One of our clients is a leading asset manager and investment banking focused firm with presence in different countries.

They are expanding their product control team in Gurgaon, hence looking to hire senior product controller with solid knowledge of financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily P&L production (Asset classes: Equities, Treasury, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX, etc.)

- Ensure timely lockdown of daily and monthly P&L (including market commentaries)

- Should be able to substantiate daily and monthly adjustments held in P&L and control accounts if any.

- Review monthly balance sheet, with substantiation and potential financial exposure.

- Review various reconciliation reports, management packs and ad hoc reports.

- Review of month end Journals for accrual, provision and true up.

Key criteria to qualify for the role:

- Qualified degree with 7+ years in banks OR public accounting firms

- Background in product control or chartered environment with exposure to financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Treasury etc.
