Job Summary :

The responsibilities of this role will grow. Initially the candidate will migrate a complex accounting role from London to Bangalore. The role is within the

Global Markets Listed Derivatives business within CB&S, the investment banking division. The Business and Financial Integrity Team are the final control point in reconciling the Trading Books to the Bank's General Ledger. They perform control checks, complex journal posting and analytical review to ensure the General Ledger accurately represents the trading activity of the bank. They liaise closely with the business and downstream stakeholders as part of this process.

Responsibilities / Tasks :

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include :

- Product accounting for listed derivative products (futures and options)

- Reconciling and reporting the trading accounts and financial accounts for the Global Markets Listed Derivatives Business

- Analytical review of the trading balance sheet and profit and loss accounts

- FX exposure management, sell-off and reporting

- Bespoke accounting entries, e.g. German GAAP and structured trades

- Management reporting of key performance indicators and key risk indicators

- Substantiating the trading balance sheet

- Analysis and testing to support strategic projects

- Regulatory accounting submissions & disclosure

- Supporting new product approval process
