Job Description:
As a Purchase Manager / Procurement Manager at, you will be responsible for managing our vendor relationships and procurement processes for corporate gifts and personalized merchandise for employees and clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for quality, creativity, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that our corporate gifting solutions align with our clients' needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships for the procurement of corporate gifts and personalized merchandise.
- Product Sourcing:- Source unique and innovative corporate gift options that align with client requirements and budget constraints.
- Cost Negotiation:- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Quality Assurance:- Maintain high-quality standards in all procured merchandise to exceed client expectations.
- Inventory Management:- Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely reordering to meet client demands.
- Budget Management:- Develop and manage budgets related to procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Market Research:- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging suppliers.
- Collaboration:- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and preferences, providing expert advice on product selection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager, Procurement Manager, or in a similar role, with a strong background in vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing and procuring corporate gifts and personalized merchandise.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
