Job Title: Procurement and Contracts Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of procurement and contract management, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare NIT (Notice Inviting Tender), contract conditions, work orders, and other related documentation.

- Conduct vendor pre-qualifications and development to ensure a robust supplier base.

- RFQ (Request for Quotation), RFP (Request for Proposal) for civil works, and prepare Comparative Statements for effective evaluation.

- Perform rate analysis and cost estimation for civil works projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.

- Negotiate with vendors/consultants to secure competitive rates for all items and services.

- Prepare comprehensive work orders and contract agreements, outlining project specifications and terms of engagement.

- Derive and validate base rates, extra items, variations, and other cost components to ensure clarity and transparency in project costing.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or a related role within the construction industry.

- Strong understanding of tendering processes, contract administration, and cost estimation techniques.

- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective vendor relationships.

- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing technical documents and financial data.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
