We are currently looking for a Manager - Process Excellence position with the topmost FMCG MNC in India. The position is to be based at their plant site in Baddi near Chandigarh.

(A) Purpose of the Role:

- Responsible for execution of Process Excellence Strategy and deliverables aligning with the company's strategic direction, values and goals across all factory operations of the business .

(B) Dimensions of the Role:

- Support and improve the quality systems and processes function & develop the continuous improvement culture

(C) Principal Accountabilities:

(D) Understanding core business processes and identify process optimisation opportunities.

(E) Generating an ongoing process improvement project pipeline with the Champions/ Process Owners.

(F) Prioritising and selecting projects in line with Strategic Business Objectives.

(G) Training and coaching individuals and teams in appropriate use of Process Improvement and Design methodologies and tools (e.g. 'DMAIC', DFSS and Lean).

(H) Mentoring Yellow Belt & Green Belt project execution, through regular project review meetings with Champions and Sponsors.

(I) Providing technical support for the cross functional/ location Teams across the company(e.g. data analysis using statistical tools).

(J) Automation of manual processes to online workflows, along with continual improvement to existing systems and processes.

(K) Working closely and effectively with Quality Team members at all locations.

(L) Ensuring 100% adherence to Customer Care process, by periodic reviews.

(M) Carrying out the monthly Product Quality Assessment and ensuring closure of the Root Cause Analysis for all observed issues, by implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions by closely working with all stakeholders.

(N) Drive TPM across all factories of business

(O) Lead Lean projects, Kaizens across factories of business

(P) Operating Network:

- Internal: Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, HR, R&D.

- External: Quality Audit Firms(D&V, BBQI), Vendors(PQRS Sample Suppliers), TPM clubs, Kaizen clubs, Process excellence experts

(Q) Education:

- M.Sc/ B.Tech degree (preferably Industrial Engineering) from recognized institute with min. 60% marks or 6 CGPA.( Cumulative Grade Percentage Average)

- Certified Black Belt by recognizing institute/ reputed organization.

(R) Work experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2 years of Lean Six Sigma & DFSS implementation

in transactional processes

- Experience in TPM implementation will be an added advantage

- Six sigma Black belt certification is preferrred

(S) Competencies:

- High achiever, with continual career development, including hands-on, rigorous process improvement experience.

- Extensive depth of Knowledge in process excellence practices and processes.

- Excellent people management skills.

- Responsive - identifies problems and needs early.

- Influencing skills - effective project implementation.

- Ability to build relationships - team player

- Flexible, prepared to get into the detail, as well as see the big picture

- Leadership skills

- Self-motivated, high energy levels

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Outstanding coaching and project management skills

- Exposure to Quality Standards and Regulations (BIS/ FDA/ PCRO/ GMP/ GLP).

- Experience in using the SAP Quality Module.

- Exposure to latest software technologies for identifying right platforms for workflows.

- Exposure to FMCG -Consumer Care processes.

Salary : Around Rs.30.0-32.0 Lpa

Location : Baddi
