Manager - Private Equity Strategy
Objective:
Accenture is building a consulting team to service private equity clients primarily in India, and selective global countries. This team would focus on the following kinds of engagements:
- Pre-deal services: industry / Target screening, outside-in due diligence
- During-the-deal services: for commercial and operational due diligence
- Post-deal services: PE portfolio company performance improvement
- We are looking to hire a Manager for the Private Equity Strategy practice, which resides within the CN -Strategy group.
- This individual would be required to lead and deliver engagements in the above three areas.
- The role would also involve supporting the practice with business and proposal development activities. The PE consulting team is fully client-facing.
Experience Required:
Candidates with the following skillsets will be considered for this position:
- At least 7 years of relevant management consulting / strategy experience (M&A advisory / corporate finance / lead advisory and buy-side / PE experience will not be considered for this role)
- Experience in working on at least two private equity CDD / ODD or post-deal engagements
- Industry depth and understanding in one or more of the following sectors - healthcare, infrastructure, consumer products and automotive / manufacturing
- Demonstrated project and people management skills
- Experience in working with “C” level executive clients
- MBA from a Tier 1 B-School
- Prior experience in private equity practices of consulting firms (Big 4 / strategy consulting firms) will afford a distinctadvantage
Skill Expectations:
- Excellent analytical and structured thinking skills - with a proven ability to rapidly develop hypotheses and issue trees
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead small to medium-size teams to deliver projects
- Ability to manage demanding clients and respond to frequent changes in delivery direction
- Ability to work under pressure, typical of high intensity private equity engagements lasting 3-6 weeks
- Comfort with leading and conducting extensive B2B primary research - including cold calling

Location: Gurgaon (preferably) / Mumbai
Travel: Ability to accommodate domestic and global travel - 30-40% or more
