Pre Sales Manager

Purpose of the role:

This position exists for development of sales and business in specific region by supporting and assisting Direct Sales teams with adequate technical and operational knowledge to drive revenue and profitability at the time of pre-sales stage.

Technical Skills Required:

- Understanding of Warehouse Operation

- Understanding of Supply Chain Process

- Good Technical Writing Skill

- AutoCAD skill preferred to have

- International Business Experience is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering - Enquiry Qualification:

- Visit client's warehouses/facilities to understand existing process flow, type of SKUs handled and constrain present in existing system

- Visit other automated WHs (vendors or other clients) to gain in-depth knowledge of process and automation used in different domains/categories

- Meeting with customer to collect relevant data for the requirements and passing on to the solution design team for proposing an optimized solution

- Problem statement for the requirement to be stated clearly

2. Analyzing opportunity:

- Analyze the data given by client to generate insights which can help in deciding best automation solution possible

- Select relevant automation technologies based on the data analysis, process flow and constrains given by the client

- Create design data, layout, and list of assumptions

- Design end to end automation solution incorporating all requirements of client and present the solution to client

- Take closure on the suggested solution and align customer on all the assumptions and eventually freeze the layout

- Take agreement on the scope of project/equipment with the client

3. Engineering Proposal and discussions:

- Design end to end automation solution incorporating all requirements of client and present the solution to client

- Take closure from client on the suggest solution and align client on all the assumptions and eventually freeze the layout with client

- Take alignment on the scope of project/equipment with the client

- Provide BoQ, cost, network, and power details to the client for the approval w.r.t cost of the solution
