Manager - Presales - IT

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Presales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the presales team and managing end-to-end bid processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in presales activities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in successful bid management.

Position: Presales Manager

Location: Chennai / Pondicherry / Remote

Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Bid Management:

- Lead the complete bid management process, from opportunity identification to submission.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bid activities.

- RFP/RFI Responses:

- Prepare comprehensive and compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).

- Ensure that responses align with customer requirements and showcase the company's strengths.

- Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with legal, HR, and solution teams to gather and integrate relevant information into bid responses.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal and compliance aspects of proposals.

- Pipeline Tracking:

- Track and monitor the sales pipeline, leads, and opportunities using the CRM system.

- Provide regular updates on pipeline status and work with the sales team to maximize conversion rates.

- Customer Meeting Participation:

- Actively participate in customer meetings to understand requirements and present proposals effectively.

- Collaborate with the sales team to align proposal presentations with customer expectations.

- Query Preparation on RFP/RFIs:

- Prepare strategic queries to seek clarification on RFP/RFI requirements.

- Engage with customers to gather additional information that enhances the quality of bid responses.

- Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate the presales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.

- Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of bid activities, customer interactions, and proposal details.

- Generate reports on bid performance, pipeline status, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

- 12-15 plus years in software services presales

- Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in presales management, with a focus on end-to-end bid processes.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of bid management, RFP/RFI response preparation.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
