- The key responsibilities of Pre-Sales Manager: IP Solutions are defined as below:
- Introduction of new IP solutions e.g. Ethernet access, IP Core network, CGNAT, Security solutions, BRAS, Policy servers, IP Routers, IP/MPLS Solutions, Enterprise Solutions, Network optimization Solutions in the market.
- Develop new solution propositions, Drive solution propositions for different customers & develop new techno commercial models.
- Develop and own TCO, business benefits, business case for solutions /proposition.
- Provide technical & business intelligence about competitors, to make Huawei products & solutions more competitive in market.
- Positioning of Huawei solutions & customization as needed per customer & developing of local solutions with mix of Huawei and third party products as needed
- Work with account team to develop solutions for the customers, take it to RFP stage for existing customers and business development phase for potential customers.
- Understand the customer requirements and translate them to the right solution. Carry out presentations and lead all technical discussions with customers.
- Support trials/ new product, new solution introductions in the customer network by supporting and driving POCs.
- Training and Mentoring internal teams and customer on products and solutions.
- Engage and Strategize with IT team at Service provides/Enterprise segment to evolve new solutions positioning Huawei as a key ICT player.
- Support cross functional teams to work on Huawei's long term vision in new domains M2M/Cloud/SDN & established domains IP-MPLS Networks/ IP Network /Security Solution.
- Responsible for maintaining internal contact network with respective product management, design units and support organizations to address customer queries, market requirements, product roadmaps, customizations and new solutions.
