Purpose: The primary purpose of a Presales Manager is to ensure that the presales team is equipped with the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively demonstrate and sell the company's products or services.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Design sales strategies by extensive competitor mapping & demonstration of business opportunities
- Working closely with sales team to close RFP's & ensure team follows up on proposals submitted
- Design architecture of new solutions and work with operations team to build execution capabilities
- Engagement with the customers to understand their needs and derive advice for prospective
products/services that are aligned with the customers' demands
- Ensure extensive market research is done for all products/services for which RFPs are being
prepared
- Ensure detailed financial feasibility is conducted for all projects
- Interface with govt. bodies/ Major institutional clients to understand sector specific trends and potential opportunities available to us. Mapping these opportunities to various businesses in the group
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful
reports
- Designing sustainable & profitable project financial models
- Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations
- Providing recommendations for improvement based on trends Key Performance
Indicators:
- Percentage of successful bids
- Setting up of Automated process to track projects and assist decision making
- Bring latest trends in the ICT /Education/Finance/healthcare segment
- Identification of Critical Success Factors for winning Tenders
- Achieves assigned productivity and profitability quotas

- Sales Team - Understanding opportunities and working on business models

- Govt/ Institutional clients - Relationship management to milk current relations / forge new

Competencies Required for the Role: Knowledge :
- Experience in Government Consulting sectors preferred
- Must have worked in Business Strategy and Project Management
- Experience of PPP projects is desirable
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

Qualification:
- M.A. Social Work/Economics/MBA (Finance/Marketing preferred)/C.A./C.S. with 5 - 7 years of
experience in managing Govt / Institutional client.
