Role Description :
This will be a client interfacing role and would demand candidate to possess excellent client relationship management skills, communication skills, stakeholder management apart from the hands-on experience of managing complex projects. The associate must also be adept at business and financial modelling.
Job Description :
- Provide advisory and support services to program portfolio companies.
- Consult start up on their business and financials when needed.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, including a review of monthly updates and other key performance indicators.
- Facilitate investments and support start-ups in their fundraising.
- Monitor business performance of portfolio start-ups, liaison with other stakeholders and provide industry connects.
- Interact and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, mentors and investors.
- Create timely portfolio update reports.
- Deal scouting and analysis for new investment and incubation opportunities.
Key Skills/Abilities :
- Excellent computational skills.
- Knowledge & understanding of financial technology / financial inclusion sector would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to identify and deliver new ideas to address key challenges.
- Self-motivated and ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self.
- Communication and persuasion skills with the ability to think quickly.
Qualification/Experience Required :
- Post Graduate degree in Management.
- Experience as a founder or with early-stage VC firms, Startups, and startup related organizations is preferred.
- 2-3 years experience of working in operations/ strategy consulting program/project management roles.
