Manager - Plant Systems & Automation - A Leading MNC Manufacturing Company

Plant Systems :

- Responsible as Site Administrator for manufacturing ( MF ) Domain

- Support's LANs, WANs, Network Segment- s, Internet & Intranet System of MF Network (Making & OPERA Network)

- Maintain Systems efficiency, upkeep to latest upgrades, Troubleshoots problems reported by users

- Maintain integrity of the network and security.

- Make recommendations for future upgrades

- Maintains physical / Virtual server environment set up of manufacturing domain (Making and OPERA)

- Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use.

- Develop procedures, programs and documentation for backup, restoration applications and report generations.

- Support Master Data Update and PPDS module.

Process Automation :

- Work with Plant / Plant System Team / System Integrators / OEM's to ensure the smooth functioning of Sites PLC and SCADA applications.

- Responsible for developing / updating new formula recipes in In-Batch server for entire capacity and also do changes in the existing recipe to reflect the changes in the manufacturing SPI

- Extend process software application to drive standardization of work practices in all Focus Factories.

- Ensures SCADA Qualification, Maintenance and Updates

- Responsible for Driving continuous improvements and automation through improvements projects to achieve operational excellence.

- Maintains Server / PLC set up of OPERA set up plant wide and Backups

- Responsible for updating new finishing requirement in MES System for entire capacity.

- Responsible for designing and developing new control systems and testing, maintaining and modifying existing system.

- Work with Focus Factory Managers / Plants on Control System obsolescence .
