Manager - Plant Operations - RT Solar

Key Responsibilities:

Be responsible for:

1. Overall operation & maintenance of multiple Solar PV Roof Top plants (~9MWp+ in 10 cities including Delhi/NCR, Kolkata,Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Solapur, Tumkuru, Madurai & Tirupur).

2. Analysis of plant operations in coordination with RT site team / O&M operators

3. Analysis of equipment failures for Corrective & Preventive Action.

4. Analysis of PV modules, Inverters, Transformers for their efficiency.

5. Analysis of O&M cost budgets.

6. Analysis of Low performance strings, PV module with RT site team.

7. MIS of plants for Generation report, MTTR and MTBF, Low Generation Analysis, low performing strings, PV Module Analysis,Root Cause Analysis of repeating error/s.

8. Responsible for coordinating PM related activity for RT sites.

9. Managing compliance related to RT sites w.r.to various PPA- s, RT owners & site operations

10. Building relationship with customers

Monitoring & Analyzing Plant Operations :

1. To monitor and analyze all plants Daily O&M reports and provide feedback to Head (O&M). (once/day)

2. To report any variations in energy yield or plant performance to Head (O&M) on daily basis.

3.To track functioning of all solar PV plant in co-ordination with RT site managers and O&M operators.

4. To monitor replacement of faulty material in all plants.

5. To discuss and align all O&M activities in RT plants to maximize Plant Generation.

6. Suggest measures to control operating O&M budget/s of RT plants to Head (O&M).

7. To visit RT locations/sites (once in a quarter) under guidance from Head (O&M) for in-depth monitoring & analyses.

8. To maintain record of important O&M activities of various RT plants like equipment details, warranty claims, preventive, replacements, cleaning data etc.

MIS Interface to Higher Management:

1. To capture daily plant generation data provided by plants and prepare - Daily Power Generation Report of RT portfolio- for circulation to Head (O & M).

2. Daily summarized reporting of major O & M activities of plants to Head (O & M).

3. To prepare and share customized reports with management as per their requirement in consultation with Head (O&M).

4. To share generation trends with management in consultation with Head (O&M) and propose solutions to overcome gaps against set targets.
