Manager - Payroll
- Processing monthly payroll. Adhoc payment processing.
- Query resolution.
- Ensuring month end activities. Co ordination with payroll vendors. Preparation of monthly schedules & accounting.
- Generating various MIS.
- Payroll accounting.
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations. Legal compliances eg TDS, Professional tax, ESI etc
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of the payroll in accordance with Company
- Review and check on all salary related general ledger accounts, Trial Balance, Monthly Provision, Allocations & Reversal
- Cross-functional interaction with HR, PF, Factory Accounts etc
- Calculation and processing of termination payments -- Input data collection, data validations /authentication, computation of Taxable income and statutory deductions within the framework of the act.
- Payroll Budgeting and preparation of MIS regarding Payroll Variance & salary cost analysis.
- Act as the Payroll focal point for internal communications, requests, etc. and produce timely responses to employee inquiries
- Managing Audits, data preparations & deliverables.
- Personal Income Tax computation knowledge of income tax is a must
- Issuance of Form 16's & other statements for individual employees. Managing Statutory payments within due dates. Filing statutory returns for the same.
- Payroll administration and Recommending changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the payroll function.
- Implementation of policies, practices and payroll procedures across different geographies within India.
