About our Client - Our client is a leading multinational within the professional services industry. They are currently recruiting for an experienced professional with proven track record in managing accounting and payroll operations. This is an internal, not-client, facing role within our client's accounting team based in Delhi NCR. The opportunity is based out of their office in Gurgaon.

Job Description - Reporting to a Senior Manager within the team, your main responsibilities shall include:

- Supervision of compensation accounting process for partners based in over 50 offices around the world including adherence to monthly accounting close procedures and journal processing

- Managing the process of income tax compliance of business travelers involving collection of workdays, review of passports, calculating taxable income and coordinating with offices for accounting and payment of tax.

- Interaction with tax advisors for recovery of taxes paid.

- Reconciliation and record keeping in the GL

- Supporting the audit process

- Handling of databases across multiple platforms (e.g. Oracle, MS-Access, Excel, web-based)

- Working in close coordination with in-house tax experts and advisors for suitable compensation structuring and delivery options.

- Working in close coordination with other departments across offices for compensation related accruals and US-GAAP adjustments.

The Successful Candidate - You must be a Chartered Accountant with 3-6 years of post qualification experience within a services based multinational. Strong communication skills with proven exposure in stakeholder management is a must. Strong accounting skills, basic tax knowledge and an ability to handle multiple projects in a team environment shall be pivotal in your success in this role.
